"Enough" - A Spoken Word Project

Please join Poverty Talks! and its partners, the Alex Food Centre and Knox Presbyterian Church, for the launch of "Enough"- a Spoken Word Project to mark International Day to Eradicate Poverty.
This exciting project will support participants as they play with poetry, explore the impact of poverty and uncover what “enough” means.
Starting with the project launch, participants will meet regularly during September and October to explore and reflect, to create powerful prose and to craft a spoken word performance. Award winning poet Erin Dingle will expertly guide participants through this learning journey; from beginning to end!
The project will conclude with a spoken word performance from participants on the evening of October 17th, United Nation's International Day to Eradicate Poverty.
Participants will receive a small honorarium for their ongoing participation and final performance.
Do I have to speak and write English well to be involved?
